NRC Race in Libourne, France

NRC Masters travelled en-masse to Libourne in France this week to race at the World Masters Rowing Regatta.

There could be an ulterior reason for the Masters squad travelling to the centre of the Bordeaux wine making region though. I wonder what that might be?

Libourne is in almost spitton distance of world famous chateau such as Cheval-Blanc, Ausone and Figeac as well as Le Pin the most expensive wine in the world. It would be a surprise if one or two chateau were not paid a visit during the regatta and maybe a case or several could be travelling back as a souvenir of the event.
